This session was at Underground Hoops in Ham Lake, MN, on a 9’10.5 rim. I was 15, 5’10”, and it had been a while since I’d had a real dunk day. During basketball season, I was so fatigued that I couldn’t get my first or second windmill to go for months.
This day was different. I felt fresh, finally out of that in-season grind, and ended up hitting my second-ever windmill dunk, plus a nice backscratcher, a 360, and a few other solid dunks. At the time, it was one of my highest-jumping sessions ever.
